creativity is in its essence a natural expression. the people who participated in creating such a cyber killing toy would probably be paid in money. perhaps they need to leave their jobs and use their talents to create harmlessly.

i would suggest that whoever got this thing off the ground did not really care about the handicapped, yet was acting out of, not their natural creativity, but their warped creativity - a disconnected creativity.

do you remember the film, the “Dambusters”? a story of the bouncing bomb, created by a scientist who had a family of a wife and several children?

the scientist was employed by the british government, placed in a farm cottage with his family in europe somewhere near a big dam which the british wanted to blow up.

the dam and surrounding road networks were heavily guarded by the germans. these roads were vital for deploying troops, equipment and supplies.

the bomb was to be designed to drop from a plane onto the water expanse held in by the dam. the bomb would bounce a few times on the water surface, bang into the wall and explode the damn wall. the water would rush out with enormous force, destroying any road networks, thus disabling the germans in that area, and hopefully speed the war’s end, thus saving thousands of lives.

right ho! said the scientist, i will do it! i want to be of some help. so , with his family safely in the house, the scientist set up shop, labouring for months and months.

his wife and children were basically prisoners as they could not go to the village a number of miles away as the husband was working in secret. the father no longer had time for his children and became impatient when any of them wanted to be with him - of course, he was driven. he wanted to get the job done. get the dam burst. and help end the war. and save all those thousands of lives.

so eventually, the bomb was built. the bomb was dropped. the dam was burst. the valley was flooded. the germans pulled out.

what the scientist did not know, (nor did he think about it) was that the whole valley flooded by the dam burst killed over 3ooo civilians.

that is what i mean by warped creativity - creativity which is neither connected to nor initiated by one’s own personal life and primary needs.

yes, it is a good and useful thing that internet-aided hunting is banned.
