heh
Tell ya what: you can get about 4 pages of mostly real world recipes that’re easy (the only kind I like) and frugal by just googling “recipe” on my blog. Won’t get all the meal/main dish recipes I’ve posted over the last year, but probably most of them… plus a few not recipes with the word strangely inserted for some reason or another.
Had one just last night–with a twist, naturally. NON-baked macaroni and cheese (not a box mix).
Tonight, even cheaper and just as easy: pinto beans (with some chili base) and cornbread. And the cornbread’s gonna be HUGELY easy, cos I’m just dumping ingredients in the bread maker and walking off. Sure, it means slicing and toasting later (to get that “hot cornbread fresh from the oven” feelin’–but EASY… in a 3-year-old $30 bread maker that sees LOTSA use).
“No Gas” Pinto beans? See here for real food ambrosia:

]]>if you want to splurge, Marie Callendar makes kick butt frozen dinners, you know, the ones where the sauce comes in a separate pouch!
now that’s a classy dinner right there.

I wouldn’t dare say microwave dinners on clearance are tasty though.
