As you all know. That’s why I never could keep a day job. It’s not that I don’t like being up during the day, it’s just that I despise actually getting up. But if I have to get up, I’m fine once I get out of the house. So since school has started back, of course I have to get up and take Sara to school. So I drag my tired ass out of bed, haul her to school, and then go do whatever needs doing outside of home.
I actually enjoy running errands… when I’m by myself. I can turn the radio up as loud as I want, to whatever station I want, and have loud solitude for a time.
I disliked day shift because of my Nemesis, The Alarm Clock, forcing me to get up at a certain time to meet my boss’ subjective time when I should be there.
Otherwise, day shift was good.
I was/am the same way with the car radio/cd/etc player, only, trips were best. They last uninterrupted for hours.
Sorry the child has to go to school, at least so early. There should be a law.
This looks very familiar to me except for the radio thing. Cant stand DJs cause are such boring mediocrities.
Time of the day doesn’t really matter so much now as long as I wake up on my own. Granted I am normally completely useless between 2am and 6am.
Paul, you think I should try to get a new law passed then? School should be open 24 hours a day so you can take them when you want to.

Uhhh… Yeah! That’s what I meant! A lot of people work shifts, no reason teachers can’t. Weekends too. The unfortunate part to that is, get ready to sell your house, school taxes are going up.

That’s about the only time I listen to music anymore unless I find a song posted on someone’s blog- riding in the car. I usually have a cd running though because I’m with Boris on DJ’s. (Even if it was a DJ that gave me the “Dead Guy” idea.)
