Iraq’s highest court rejected Saddam Hussein’s appeal Tuesday and said the former dictator must be hanged within 30 days for his role in the 1982 slayings of 148 Shiite Muslims from a town where assassins tried to kill him.

]]>Its just that… well… I’ve been working lots and lots of hours. Soooo tired.
I promise I’ll get caught up on everyones blog soon…
Can’t make any promises about that housework though.
It’s not like we can’t afford one. My husband made over 100 grand last year and the only bills we have besides utilities and house payment is the Visa bill and that gets paid IN FULL every single month. We have money in the bank, and I’m not talking some piddly little shit, more than enough to buy me a brand new car without even taking out a loan and it has nothing to do with retirement. THAT is in another account. I personally have more than enough to buy one in my retirement CD’s he buys me every year to get a tax break but if I were to cash those in he’d kill me or divorce me one.
What’s the old man getting for Christmas? A pipe bender for Christ’s sake. You have any idea what that will cost? Let’s see. The pump alone is almost $2500 but he got lucky on that and found a brand new one on eBay for $750. We didn’t ask questions. It’s already in his workshop. The actual bender is another couple of thousand. Add that to the thousands of dollars he has in fishing equipment but has never even caught ONE fish. I’m not joking. He has at least ten different reels that cost anywhere between $200 and $400. He also has a Boston Whaler boat sitting on our driveway that’s been in the water maybe ten times. Oh Oh! Let’s not forget the welding machine he bought the first of the year. OR the fact he has THREE table saws. One of which is a Delta Unisaw that is sitting in the garage and has NEVER been used. That baby only cost $2300.
He asked me what I wanted for Christmas and I said nothing. He said well there must be something you want. I told him he knew damn well what I wanted and if I wasn’t getting it to get me nothing. So I imagine on Christmas morning I’ll get some slipper socks and some jewelry that I’ll never wear. I don’t need anything in the line of computer electronics so those will be his most likely choices. Either that or another antique sewing machine. I have three of those. I asked for a sewing machine three years running and that’s what I got, antique ones. I guess that was supposed to be some kind of comment on what he thinks my ability to actually sew something is-
Anyways! I want a car, I’m not going to get one, and I’m PISSED! Merry Christmas!
]]>Arkansas will play Wisconsin on Jan. 1 in the Capital One Bowl at Orlando, Fla, it was announced Sunday.
It appeared the Razorbacks would be headed to Dallas to play Nebraska in the Cotton Bowl, but Arkansas Athletic Director Frank Broyles and Coach Houston Nutt lobbied hard for the Capital One Bowl.
With a $4.25 million payout per team, the Capital One also has the highest payoff of any non-BCS bowl. The Cotton Bowl’s payout is $3 million per team.
Although, I must admit, I have lost a LITTLE of my faith in this year’s Razorbacks team after that whole Casey Dick fiasco, I haven’t lost any faith in Darren McFadden, who everyone is talking about lately. His hurt ankle will be healed nicely by then, surely.
Boris, please email to me your mailing address. Diane, I’ve lost yours, so email that to me also, although I should know it by memory by now, lol.
Thanks Boris!
]]>Are you thinking of starting business? Well you have many options but best one can be a web hosting company. Now what you need is concentration and willing power. If you have any knowledge of IT then its fine and if do not have any, you can go for online certification. You should also start relating services with your hosting packages like internet marketing services. In this regard pay per click services can be an ideal option. For this you have to provide the facility of credit card online transaction on your website. You should also offer cheap domains services with your hosting packages.

I know Diane doesn’t think Julie looks much like me, but that’s just because Diane met me after I got old and decrepit, lol. Diane thinks Sara looks just like me, but if you compare pics of me at 15 to pics of Sara now, there’s not much of a resemblance. But I emailed this photo of Julie to a friend of mine who met me when I was the age that Julie is now, and this is her reply:
ok mom, i know u know this but that photo looks like you when i first met you. wow. double take. cloned??? must be a clone. dejavu! i am much amazed, can you tell?
OK so, I wouldn’t say CLONE, Julie and I do resemble a bit, but here, I’ll just show you.
A pic of me at about 18 years old, compared to pics of julie at 21 and a pic of Sara at 15 (Sorry, couldn’t find exact ages to compare):

Of course, for julie and I to look like clones, I’d have to chop my hair off, shave my eyebrows and paint them back on, and get a lot of tattoos and piercings, lol.
AND JUST FOR KICKS…
These pics have nothing to do with family resemblances, I just found them while searching for photos and thought I’d throw them in here too because they gave me a chuckle:
